Putnam Sharks Booster Club

Supporting our swimmers, strengthening our team, and building a connected community. The booster club shares updates, volunteer opportunities, and event details throughout the season. Be sure to check team communications and stay involved as much as you’re able.

What is the Booster Club?

What We Do

The booster club helps support the team in a variety of ways, including:

  • Organizing swim meets and team events

  • Running concessions and fundraising activities

  • Coordinating team gear and apparel

  • Supporting communication between families and the team

  • Helping create a positive and organized experience for swimmers

How Funds Are Used

Funds raised by the booster club go directly back into the team to improve the experience for all swimmers.

This includes:

  • Training equipment (fins, paddles, kickboards)

  • Team gear support (caps, suits, goggles)

  • Awards, ribbons, and recognition

  • Team events and traditions

  • Meet-day needs like water and snacks

Why It Matters

Swim teams rely heavily on parent involvement to operate successfully. The booster club helps ensure:

  • Practices run smoothly

  • Meets are well-organized

  • Swimmers have the tools they need to succeed

  • Families feel connected and supported

Without the booster club, many of these opportunities wouldn’t be possible.
