About the League…

The Planet Swim First Coast Summer Swim League (PSFCSSL), based in Jacksonville, Florida, was first established in 1997 to give young people in North Florida communities and clubs a chance to learn and take part in structured competitive swimming during the summer. 

The Planet Swim First Coast Summer Swim League was created in 2024 by the partnering of the First Coast Summer Swim League and Planet Swim Aquatics. The goal of this merger is to continue to advance and improve swimming in our community while building on the strong foundation that FCSSL established.

PSFCSSL Scholarship

The Planet Swim First Coast Summer Swim League (PSFCSSL) is pleased to announce its scholarship program. The Planet Swim FCSSL Scholarship Program has been established to benefit swimmers who have participated on a swim team in the league for multiple years. The purpose of the scholarship program is to identify, recognize, and provide assistance to talented high school graduates toward their advanced education.

Criteria for consideration:

• Graduating high school senior in the 2024-2025 school year

• Participation in the First Coast Summer Swim League and/or Planet Swim Aquatics for a minimum of 4 years.

• A member who is in good standing with their team and the league.

• Committed to an accredited college/university or career school for the 2025-2026 school year.

• Contribution to your team in terms of good sportsmanship, attitude, and a positive role model for younger swimmers.
